The Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum (CINP) gets its network in shape--then outsources ongoing infrastructure services to XMi Technology

Founded in 1957, the Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum (CINP) has 1,000 scientists and clinicians in 45 countries dedicated to excellence in the field of neuropsychopharmacology. The CINP serves as a meeting ground for clinicians and basic scientists representing the widest range of interests in studying the biochemistry, pharmacology, safety, and therapeutic efficacy of neuropsychiatric drugs.

The Answer:

XMi Technology did an assessment of CINP’s overall IT infrastructure needs and quickly came up with a solution that integrated both their PC’s and Mac’s into a homogeneous, shared environment, ensuring that users in the office (and telecommuters) could easily communicate via email (internally and externally), share calendars, access the Web—and otherwise share key information. XMi Technology got a solid network in place for CINP and since then has provided ongoing IT infrastructure services to maintain and enhance the CINP’s network—and fix any problems on an as-needed basis. Services have included regular back-ups and checks on key equipment, setting up new equipment, teaching PC skills to users, etc.
