Bank One turns to XMi Technology for Project Management & Business Consulting expertise in Account Analysis Operations and CAP

 

The Business Challenge:

Analyze and develop an accurate reporting system for Bank One’s Dallas Banking Operations Center.

Client Profile:

Headquartered in Chicago, Bank One Corporation is the nation's sixth-largest bank holding company, the third largest credit card issuer in the U.S, a leader in retail and small business banking, serving nearly 7 million retail households and 500,000 small businesses, and a leading investment management company, with $187 billion in assets under management as of 12/31/03.

The Answer:

XMi Technology provided an experienced project manager with specific expertise in Account Analysis operations and CAP (Computer Associates Profitability) and support team. Using XMi Technology’s Project Management methodology, the project manager and her team identified and reviewed all CAP reports for the Dallas Operations area to determine their current and/or potential usage in support of the daily processes performed throughout the Account Analysis department.

After a comprehensive discovery process, XMi Technology produced a detailed document that served as a guide for project work. In the Development Phase, XMi Technology created project reports documentation and procedures as well as recommendations for process improvement efforts and fee income opportunities within the Bank One Operations area. In the Deployment Phase, the project manager and project team completed training and assisted in initial deployment of the revamped CAP reports. In post-deployment, XMi Technology wrapped up the project by reviewing continuous process improvement efforts while finalizing the documentation.

The Results:

Using XMi Technology’s online Client Satisfaction Survey for this project, Bank One rated XMi Technology’s performance on nine different project outcome, process, and overall satisfaction criteria. XMi Technology scored a cumulative average of 4.9 of possible 5 points (5= "Very Satisfied").
