services to XMi Technology

Fix nagging email problems causing dozens of company-sent emails per day
to be blacklisted—and handle the company’s network administration
issues on an outsourced, as-needed basis.

Resources serves the nonferrous metal casting industry as distributors
and brokers of aluminum ingot and sows, as well as, processors of dross
and machine chips. The company offers a complete and diversified line of
products and services for some of the largest producers of aluminum materials.
The Answer:
XMi Technology diagnosed the email problem immediately, got Aluminum Resources
off various black-lists, implemented new anti-virus software and a new firewall
(NT network with Exchange users) to prevent reoccurrences, did other network
clean-up—and restored the company’s important email capabilities
back to normal. XMi Technology then set up a new service arrangement for handling
preventive maintenance and any IT infrastructure issues that may arise--and
has continued to assist Aluminum Resources over the past year on an as needed
basis.
